Aaron Chimbel is the dean of the Jandoli School of Communication at St. Bonaventure University.
For 9 years before that, he taught journalism at TCU's Bob Schieffer College of Communication. He has published numerous articles and two books: "Introduction to Journalism" and " Why I'm a Journalist: Personal Stories from Those Who Cover the News ." He specializes in video and digital journalism. His students have won dozens of awards for their work. Before joining the TCU faculty full-time, he worked as the MoJo (mobile journalist) at WFAA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth, a reporter at KWTX-TV in Waco, Texas and as a producer at Texas Cable News. He's also produced two documentaries. His work has been honored with five Emmy Awards and a national Edward R. Murrow Award. |
